GLOBAL SALES & JURISDICTION

ReggaeVerse OS is operated from Ghana and sells worldwide through Paddle as Merchant of Record. This page explains what that means for you, wherever you are.

1. WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your payment contract is with Paddle under Paddle's Buyer Terms; your service contract for the platform itself is with ReggaeVerse OS under our Terms of Service.

2. TAX

Prices are shown in your local currency where supported. Paddle calculates, collects and remits VAT, GST, sales tax and equivalent indirect taxes based on your billing country, including EU VAT under the OSS scheme, UK VAT, US state sales tax, Canadian GST/HST, Australian GST and other regimes. Business buyers can enter a valid VAT/GST number at checkout where reverse charge applies. Invoices are issued by Paddle.

3. EUROPEAN UNION AND EEA

  • 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales of digital content, unless you consented to immediate performance and acknowledged losing that right. Our voluntary 30-day guarantee applies in addition.
  • Statutory conformity rights under the Digital Content Directive (EU) 2019/770 are unaffected by our warranty disclaimers.
  • GDPR rights are set out in our Privacy Notice, including access, erasure, portability and complaint to your supervisory authority.
  • Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence apply notwithstanding our choice of Ghanaian law.
  • Online dispute resolution: you may raise consumer complaints through your national ADR body.

4. UNITED KINGDOM

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply to UK consumers: digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, with a 14-day cancellation right subject to the immediate-performance exception. UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 govern your data, with complaints to the ICO.

5. UNITED STATES

  • Sales tax is handled by Paddle by state where economic nexus applies.
  • Copyright complaints follow the DMCA process in our Terms; repeat infringers are terminated.
  • California residents have CCPA/CPRA rights; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • Copyright in purely AI-generated material may be unavailable — see our AI Policy.
  • Export controls and OFAC sanctions apply: we cannot provide the service to sanctioned persons or embargoed territories.

6. CANADA, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

Canadian consumers retain rights under provincial consumer protection law and CASL applies to our marketing emails. Australian Consumer Law guarantees cannot be excluded, and nothing in our Terms limits them; New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act applies similarly for consumer purchases.

7. GHANA AND AFRICA

We operate under the laws of the Republic of Ghana, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772). Buyers elsewhere in Africa are served through Paddle in supported currencies; local consumer and tax law in your country applies to your purchase where mandatory.

8. SANCTIONS AND AVAILABILITY

We do not sell to individuals or entities subject to UN, EU, UK or US sanctions, or located in comprehensively embargoed territories. Some features may be unavailable in certain countries for legal or provider reasons.

9. LANGUAGE AND CONFLICTS

These policies are published in English, which governs in the event of a translation discrepancy. Where a mandatory law of your country conflicts with a term here, that law prevails for you and the rest of the terms continue in force.
