COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

ReggaeVerse OS is a working house for reggae, roots, dub, dancehall and Rastafari culture. These guidelines keep it safe, honest and respectful. They apply everywhere on the platform — profiles, Pulse, projects, messages, comments, listings, reviews and live events.

1. RESPECT THE CULTURE

Reggae and Rastafari are living traditions, not aesthetics to borrow carelessly. Credit lineage, name your sources, and do not misrepresent sacred symbols, elders or communities. The Cultural Integrity Charter sets this out in full.

2. RESPECT EACH OTHER

  • No harassment, threats, stalking or pile-ons.
  • No hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age.
  • No doxxing or sharing someone's private information.
  • Disagree with the work, not the person.

3. CREDIT AND SPLITS

Agree splits before the session, record them on the project split sheet, and honour them. Do not upload someone else's recording, stems, artwork or likeness without permission, and do not release a collaboration without the agreed credits.

4. DEAL HONESTLY

  • Describe listings, rentals, bookings and courses accurately, including what the buyer receives.
  • Deliver what you sold, on time, and communicate if something slips.
  • No fake reviews, engagement farming, sock-puppet accounts or manipulated stream counts.
  • No off-platform payment requests to avoid buyer protection.

5. CONTENT LIMITS

No sexual content involving minors, no incitement to violence, no content promoting self-harm, no illegal goods or services, no malware or scams. Mark explicit lyrics as explicit. AI-assisted work should be labelled as such where it could mislead.

6. MESSAGES AND OUTREACH

Direct messages are for real collaboration and business. No bulk unsolicited pitching, no chain messages, no repeated contact after someone declines.

7. AT EVENTS

Tickets are for genuine attendance, not scalping. Follow venue safety rules and organiser instructions, and treat crew, security and other attendees with respect.

8. MODERATION AND CONSEQUENCES

We may remove content, limit visibility, withhold payouts pending investigation, suspend features or close accounts for breaches. We weigh severity, intent and history. Serious breaches — fraud, exploitation of minors, credible threats — mean immediate removal and may be reported to authorities. Repeated rights infringement leads to account termination.

9. APPEALS

If you believe a decision was wrong, reply to the notice or email support@reggaeverseos.com within 30 days. A person who was not involved in the original decision will review it.

10. REPORTING

Report abuse, impersonation or rights infringement to abuse@reggaeverseos.com. Include links and enough detail for us to act. See also the Acceptable Use Policy.
